It documents the building's remarkable history from 1900's prosperity through the depression, Nazism, Communism, and then post-wall freedom, while simultaneously showing the ongoing battle the artists wage against gentrification and investment companies in order to salvage this fragment of history located in the center of Berlin in which they draw inspiration for their art.
